Do we want to watch Rush get fatter and pudgier?

That's one listener's question.

RadioDailyNews:
Rush Limbaugh's recent comments about Hillary Clinton are putting a new spin on an age old question. Clinton's looks, age and presidential electability are up for debate. A recent picture of the now 60-year-old Clinton led to Limbaugh asking his listeners if "Americans want to actually watch a woman get older before their eyes on a daily basis?" Limbaugh added, "Men aging makes them look more authoritative, accomplished and distinguished". Paul Costello, who was an aide to Rosalynn Carter and Kitty Dukakis, calls this “the snake belly of the campaign,” and notes drily: “We’ve been staring at aging white men from the beginning of the democracy.”

OK, who thinks Rush looks "authoritative, accomplished and distinguished?"
This is the guy who picked up an aerobics instructor in chat room.

Rush's schtick can be as bad as Hannity's.

Rush makes fun of people's outward appearance (Rep. Patsy Schroeder comes to mind). Hannity's constant arguing and cutting off disagreeable callers and overall monotonous sing-song delivery of the same thing day after day along with having little patience for anyone that dares to claim the host may not have all his facts straight...

I used to like Rush, but he has become a parody of himself. He's almost unlistenable.

One wonders how he continues to be the gorilla of talk radio.

I think his use of the ditto-cam is just ego. I hope no one takes the time to sit at the PC and watch their screen just to see him talk. Most of these TV talk shows, if not all, can be left on in the background without sitting and staring at the box. Chris Matthews isn't all that interesting you have to stare at his or Buchanan's face for an hour.
