Do you have reception problems due to drought?

Both Tallahassee and Pensacola have stations on 100.7 & 101.5... Tallahassee's are C2/C3 while Pensacola's are both full C with big coverage areas.

Summer DX here was a letdown this year on the Alabama Gulf coast. I never heard anything further away than New Orleans. In years past, Jackson, Montgomery, Baton Rouge and Tallahassee were not uncommon at night.

Orlando / Tallahassee works in reverse. No skip required - on large swaths of I-10 East of Tallahassee you can get stations like 101.9 from Orlando. Any time of year or time of day.

August conditions were the driest on record here (central VA). Also, unusually, the
sky was completely haze free. AM noise floor was the lowest in can remember in
10 years- no hiss at night down to the 600s- and reception was excellent, like winter.
September was quite wet, the sky was its usual hazy, and reception was average.
