Do you have to work in radio to post here?

Hello, I was wondering of you had to work in radio to be on these boards. I am just listen to the radio. I live in the Richmond Indiana area and love to listen to 700 WLW. Big fan of Scott Sloan and Willie Cunningham. Mike McConnell just rambles on too much for me. I listen to Mix 107.7 from Dayton a lot. The radio station here in town (G101.3) just is too repetitive for me.

No.

You have already answered your own question since you can see your own post on this board. Note: There are some specific general policies, such as no file attachments (only urls), etc.

Enjoy!

No and remember you already know as much as the rest of so called experts that post daily. It's like sausage, you don't want to see what gets shoved in the intestinal skin wrapping, just what goes on the plate.

It's what comes out the speaker and not behind it that counts.

I've never been on radio, but I still LOVE radio, especially the past eras. I enjoy interacting back and forth with many people who post here. Some of these folks have a great deal of experience in the business and offer interesting perspectives on the industry today. There's a couple that just like to criticize, but most know who these guys are and the fact that they are just plain negative.... It's great to get to "pick the minds" of some of these experienced folks who have seen the industry change so much over the past 30 or 40 yrs.....You'll enjoy it. Welcome aboard!

No, and you just might bring some sanity to the board. And by the way...dont let the jaded opinions of some of us who do work in radio (and even moreso those who have been fired from radio) stop you from voicing your true opinion. Being in the business does not a genius make....Not by a longshot! Welcome aboard!

I love reading listener comments. The most valuable part of a research project is the verbatim comments.

In here mixing listeners with the pros does not always create intellectual reactions. But, I contend that posters who identify themselves as listeners can fit into most threads just fine.

Welcome KookyToes.
