was all this moving around left overs from the shit storm created when the 100.5 power station moved from Anniston to Atlanta (College Park).
As I recall it created 5+ new allocations around north and east Alabama. The only ones I remember from way back then were small class A and C3 replacement stations/allocations. One that would city grade Anniston and another that would have city graded Auburn, but there were many more new allocations created all over the dial when that deal was written up.... all of which should have been offered in an FCC auction since the 100.5 move a decade ago. I believe the moves or changes of 100.? in Tuscaloosa and 105.5 in Birmingham were also effected by the WHMA(?) move to Atlanta. Did the FCC ever finally sign off on the transfer of license of 100.5 to College Park, GA? I know they moved over there on a STA years before getting any FINAL approval.
Similar situation with the Power Pig 93.3 in Evergreen. It moved to FWB, Florida on an STA. Did that ever get the final sign off and if so what new allocations/moves/upgrades did that move open up?
