Do You Know the Names of the Announcers?

I know this is a Radio board, but do you know the names of the Booth Announcers on Channels 3 WBTV & Channel 9 WSOC?

IMHO, these male announcers are excellent - some of the best I've heard in the USA.

They have great voices (even though I know they're using some Audio Processing).

They do the breakers, sweepers, etc.

Am sure they've had prior Radio/TV experience.

If you know their names (couldn't find them on the stations' website) - do you know what other stations they might work at?

Seems like they're too good just to be on one station.

--Thanks

I might be mistaken, but the Ch9 guy sounds soooo much like Charlie VanDyke, it's scary....

John Causby does some of the voiceover work on WBTV also.

There are a lot of the well known Charlotte voices available from the ground crew studios.

John started at WMNC in high school, went to the ASU broadcasting program then worked at WBCY during the John-Boy era there, he stayde behind when John-Boy left and finally went independent. He was the behind the scenes driving force behind John-Boy and did all the production work for the show then.

I was mistaken...but I was pretty sure I'd heard him doing one o the Charlotte stations. Soo, who does the Channel 9 voicers?
