Garrett, did you even LOOK at the picture before you posted?

I thought it was mildly funny.

I don't get it either. Now this is the kind of topic the mods should cross out and get rid of!!

I believe that (a) you've all gone blind; and (b) Chris C. needs to explain the joke.
______________

What joke?
The link was not to a page meant for public consumption, and when I went to SDradio.net the dates were normal.

And if you think about it, the dates on the link were not wrong, when you consider the international dateline, it may indeed have been the 8th somehwere, and the 7th somewhere else. So, I do not see a joke there, and no explanation is necessary.

But that's assuming some people CAN think about it at all.

Of course when you went to SDradio.net the dates were normal. This post was a not so subtle hint the dates were wrong on the website. Someone obviously got the hint.

The page WAS meant foer public consumption. I MADE it for public consumption.

I'll file the "international date line excuse" along with "the twinkie defense" and Clinton's remark, "I did not have sexual relations with that woman".

Re: Huh?

What, for Pete's sake, are we talking about or referring to????

KM squelches substantive talk but let's a trivial thread like this go through 100 iterations.

Sigh....

I'd rather have this little diversion than the usual discussions bordering on slander or other things people can sue over.

You don't like it, I don't make you come here.
______________

Re: Huh?

Ah, so what you are saying Trading Spaces, is that you are using the San Diego Radio-Info message board to exploit a mistake made on SDRadio.net, by linking a copywrighted (but not publised) web site (SDRadio.net) to further some kind of mission you have against SDradio.net. Is that pretty much it?
That seems to be a long way to go just for that.

You got some ax to grind with Chris Carmichael? What did he ever do to you and why should we care?

I know that was intended to imply that it's my fault, but here is the reality.

The professionals who should be hanging out here can't stand all the personal attacks, innuendo, rumormongering, etc., so they find better things to do.

That statement is based on an e-mail I received from someone I know at CC's Los Angeles cluster, telling me why he wasn't going to participate any longer.

So, perhaps if some of you (and you know who you are) would refrain from using Radio-Info as your personal message board for slamming everything in sight, we might be able to keep some of the people who could answer questions with real facts instead of speculation.
______________

IMHO....It just kills me to read all the bickering, slamming, nitpicking, etc on this board.

I kind of figured there must have been a typo / grammatical error on SDRadio.net which is what started all this. If there was - big deal! Errors happen all the time. If I spent all my time pointing out all the errors I come across, I'd be dead by now.

We need to start acting like adults and not like kids fighting over toys.

Yeah? So the original post wasn't a personal attack on Chris?

Re: Huh?

Truer words have never been said!
I can't agree more.

Re: Huh?

Actually, most of the other radio professionals I know have little use for wasting their times on message boards. They're more into news-type sites such as Radio Ink, Inside Radio, R&R Online, and All Access.

Other than myself, I can think of few others that go to message boards.
