Do You Know Where Your Coast 93-3 Is?

Looks like Coast has gone through a change. Providence welcomes 93.3 Coast FM.

I heard the the imaging in Cumberland Farms today. It did nt sound bad.I do like the "Coast-FM". thing. Maybe more changes are on the way.Delilah I hear is getting ridiculous. I don't listen to her but a girl I work with got turned off from her last week when she played a song that had nothing to do with what the caller was expressing. She felt that if she was the caller she would have been insulted. I'm not sure what the song was or the request but she said one had nothing to do with the othe other.

Please tell me they are getting rid of her. I really enjoy listening to them with the exception of 7-midnight.

Add me to the list of people who think Delilah is absolutely ridiculous. It's cookie cutter sickenly sweet radio for 1973. Time to get rid of her. The show is nauseating.

The problem isn't necessarily with Delilah's show, but the show does not belong on 93.3! It's a soft AC show at best, and with WSNE aiming to be a Hot AC outlet, the show doesn't fit at all. If Premiere didn't own Delilah, I doubt that it would still be on the station.

Personally, I'm fine with the 7:00PM hour :) . Delilah airs on 93.3 WSNE/Star 93.3/The New 93.3/Coast 93.3/93.3 Coast FM from 8:00PM to midnight. And speaking of WSNE, the station turned on the HD last week for the 10 of us in the area with HD radios, and it sounds great so far. The disco subchannel isn't on yet. They started running PAD last night.

I love someone who is so confidently wrong....Delilah is on 7-midnight. Not 8-midnight. It's been that way since about last August.

I like the sound of it and the new imaging too. It sounds punchier so I don't see them going with more of a traditional AC approach. Lite owns that audience and there's no way Coast is taking it. Lite's accepted their older demos and is programming to it even by playing more 60s music now. Coast is trapped between Lite and PRO-FM. No sense even suggesting Lite should bring Joan over to co host mornings as that would be an expensive move.Still I can't believe they would change this if future changes weren't coming even if they pass them off as budgetary. It seems to be that time of year for CCU. Look at the firings at KISS and JAMN in Boston. I think 93.3 Coast FM is only change #1.
