Do you see Rush moving back to 100.3?

NO
Citadel has a “trump” card: WABC NY. If CC wants to move Rush to FM in Chicago on one of their poor performing FM’s from WLS (Citadel) and or 100.3 in Knoxville, Citadel could threaten to drop Rush in NYC. CC’s Music FMs in NY are generating some serious cash and blowing one of them up to install a labor expensive news talk operation is not practical. The all syndicated model has not worked too well in Atlanta (WGST) for CC, so I do not see any reason for CC to “rock the boat”. But then again CC does occasionally do strange things. Now if Citadel flips 98.7 then definitely!

There is 50,000 watts WOR in NYC who would gladly clear Rush, they already have Beck and C2C both Premiere shows.

Does WOR have a good local news department? CC is running Rush on WGST Atlanta (with no local news to speak of) and they are doing poor. Of course WGST has a bad signal for a 50KW station @ 640AM. CC will not give up one of the Atlanta FM signals for Rush. Sometimes programers forget the news part of News Talk.

WOR has the only local morning show in NYC with John Gambling , in the afternoon its Steve Malzberg show which beats Hanitty in the ratings!!!

Hanitty's radio show is just a commercial for his TV show.

Except for Limbaugh, how well can a conservative like Hannity do in NYC? It's likely he's only doing 'meh' here in conservative country.

'Meh' is so ineffective, it is highly regarded in Washington and at Citadel.

He is back on WCBM in Baltimore. Several years ago the competition apparently made what he thought was a better deal. I'm thinking he figured out what other people in Baltimore knew for a long time: The owner of the station is a genuine sweetheart (and very community oriented, right down to saving the prom) as well as a very astute businesswoman.

It isn't necessarily what Rush thinks is best that matters. Thanks for the venue in Eastern Tennessee.
