Do you think Huntsville will ever have another top 40 station to give WZYP some actual competition? Obviously it would have to be a real top 40 station and not lean too Hot AC during the day like ZYP. The only station I can think of that would even think about a format flip to top 40 (or a format flip in general) is Clear Channel's 100.3 The River. It's not doing too well in the ratings and is not a well established station like WAHR, WRTT, or WDRM.
I could see Clear Channel flipping 100.3 to a Kiss Station and having a true top 40 format. Sure they may have to do some voicetracking, like On-Air middays, but I think they could do some damage not only to WZYP but also WHWT since 103.5 has a crappy signal outside Huntsville city limits.
WRTT would be a second choice. Even though Fish's morning show, I feel, could be tweaked for a CHR format, I feel a lot of listeners would be way too up in arms if that station flipped.
