Doc Rodgers, WLW question

I was listening to WLW on Friday night, after the Reds game, and I heard a new guy doing the weekend Extra Innings show, replacing Tracy Jones, Doc Rodgers.

He is apparently the Assistant GM of the Reds, also handling scouting, and he had some good insight about the Draft last night in baseball, but he wasn't doing a topical show about the game, mostly.

It's also weird when WLW was playing music during their America's Trucking Network show, that they don't play it at any other time during the day.

When did WLW stop playing music during the daytime, and go to a news-talk-sports format?

its been since the early 90's since WLW played music during the weekdays daytime and middle 90's when they started talking all the time on weekends. till the mid 90's they were still doing hot wax weekends outside of reds and bengals games

Yeah, Doc was an assistant to "PANTS"...he always has some interesting insights.

BTW, I heard a morning show promo pimping out that they would be playing "New Alanis Morissette" during the morning show.
