DOCTOR BOB MARTIN

Has anyone on here listened to the Doctor Bob Martin show? Either on KFYI or the national version he does over on KGME?

It seems like he's been taking more callers lately, which in my opinion is a good thing. I've listened for a full hour sometimes when there are no callers taken. I'm assuming he does his show live?

Also, when he talked about his "co-pilots" who help him - is there really someone there? Or is it like Rush Limbaugh's Snerdly, or whatever his name is, that he refers to, but no one is really there. I wondered if Doctor Bob does this too??

Never-the-less, he has some good helpful info - just wish they didn't cut his show down by an hour to end at 11am. =( Boo!

Sorry I should have just said "nanny on steroids" don't eat that , eat this, take that, seems kind of preachy to me. but to each his own.

Yeah, good point - there is lots of stuff to NOT eat, etc. I wonder how much the good doctor follows his own advice? Or is it just a gimmick?

His show is still a gigantic informercial for his sponsors, and his doctorate is in baloney pseudo science, not actual medicine.

The guy is a huckster

I watch old movies and TV rerun shows from time to time and what is interesting is how the portion sizes were so much smaller in the 30s to the 60s. A drink was in a little Dixie cup, a sandwich was 2 thin piece of bread with a piece of baloney on it. How much verses what you eat.
