...about "Stoopertalk."

Not that I know anything about this ratings stuff. Does the program director of the year, Jeffie or the 16 year old genius, The Kid or what about the Train Wreck, do you know what these numbers mean?

780, 694, 653, 617, 628, 584, 576

No. They're not area codes. Add two zeros to each. It's the Stoopertalk cume over the last seven trends.
And you know what this means? It means going...going... This brings Stoopertalk in at number 23, tied with WOXY-FM (which is hard to pick up in the market), WLQT (Dayton), WCVG-AM (Still on the air?), WROU-FM (Dayton) and behind WTUE (Dayton), WCIN (No kidding. This station is #21).

What was that I heard about 15 months? You may not get it TW (Train Wreck).

And "gardening guy" sounds like he can go for hours with no calls.

Oh, what the hell. The GM is smokin' hot.

That don't pay the bills, brother.

Someone told me Cumulus couldn't compete here, that they didn't think in big enough terms for a market this size, that after 18-24 months the stations here would be for sale.

They may have been right about some of that stuff.

Brilliant post! A news sales manager will probably work.. (the 3rd since they started..)

come on! we all know the calvary is on it's way...the 2AGs!
those two will surely save the day ::)

I was always a fan of the 2 Angry Guys...that said, the biggest thing they need to hire is a production director. Furman's talk show is ok, though it sounds like he went from Marconi Award Winning station to a station that has the production quality of Marconi's first broadcast.

uhh...no. both shows fllled the shallow void left, and to the apparent satisfaction of majority listeners. the 2AGs seriously, in all objective honesty, have to be one of the single-worst radio programs ever broadcast.

Putting high dollar production on 96.5 is like adding chrome to a Pinto. It has much larger issues. They need to decide on a format. Is it sports, shock, conservative, financial, or brokered? Sports was over saturated in the market before 1360 flipped. With the current emphasis on sports without a Reds or Bengals contract, I can't see it ever doing much better.

I actually like most of the non sports programming on 96.5, and listen to Mancow every morning. I'll miss it.

How long until the Christmas music starts? :(
