Does 97.1 Amp Radio/KAMP-FM have mixshows?

I have yet to hear a mixshow on this station since they've signed on. Meanwhile, their biggest competitors, 102.7 KIIS-FM and Power 106 KPWR have constant mixshows. You would think that maybe AMP radio would start mixing too.

Perhaps they believe that the mix positions are taken in the market.

In the target of 18 to 34, Amp is typically 5th or 6th on average, and they are generally well in the top ten in 19-49, too.

Sometimes it helps to not do the same thing as everyone else.

David is right. There are plently of mixshows on the dial

KIIS
Power
Latino
KDAY
KGGI
KJLH
KCAQ/KQIE
KXOS
KSEE

I think its safe to say we dont need to hear remixes of Lady GaGa, Rihanna and LMFAO on every station. If their gonna avoid syndicated countdown shows Im sure they dont need a mixshow either

@wdb2003 97.1 Amp Radio may sound like Power 106 and KIIS-FM as far as musical patterns but sorry no mixshows. KDAY has great weekend mixshows. IMO "The Saturday Night Mixdown" doesn't fit on KJLH. Power 106 has been doing mixes for years. BTW don't expect KDAY to play Lady GAGA, LMAFO and Rhianna because they're keeping a strict reign on classic hip hop and also taking us back to "The Beat" vs Power 106 era.
