Does AJ Have the Energy?

What are your theories on whether or not AJ and Hula will end up cranking out mornings on Energy? I think the timing was just too perfect. Their competitor launches a new CHR station and knows how much of an asset AJ has been to CC for so many years, so they offer him more $$ than Cheap Channel. Therefore, armed with a more lucrative offer, he decides not to renew his contract and abandons the sinking ship that is Clear Channel. Energy already has middays, afternoons, and nights in place, yet no morning show. If they follow suit with other recently started CBS CHR outlets (ie: KAMP, WDZH, WXRK, KMVQ), KEGY WILL go local in the AM. So they haven't yet because AJ and Hula are perhaps still under no-compete. Could this transition time just be a glorified vacation while they build a new project and get ready to assemble a new team? Just my thoughts, what are yours?

<yawn> San Diego radio has gotten so stale.

Now, now, now... according to that "news story" he is a "Beloved radio show host."

What's very weird is this quote:

"After a request for comment, he contacted NBC 7 San Diego saying he was unsure what the future holds for him and his producer Hula Ramos"

Let's see now, they have a new job? Could that be what the future holds for him? Someone ought to tell him the good news.

He's even bringing the gossip chick and the lady that did the kid smarts bits along with him. Nice of him to include the behind the scenes people with him in the move. And to answer the original post, was there really any doubt as to where AJ would end up if he wanted to remain in SD? I just wonder if he will still do the kids crane in a few months. My wife works at the children's hospital and they always look forward to the huge amount of toys that it brings in each year.

I guess the soccer moms will be happy
