I mean Steve Rivers as an air personalty in Philly.
He was VP for programming at Chancellor before it was absorbed by Clear Channel (the whole CC Philly cluster was Chancellor's), where I understand he dreamed up both "Alice" and "Jammin' Oldies." After he lost he job in the merger, he hung out his shingle as a consultant, and a couple of years later he became a CBS (then Infinity) programming executive.
But I've heard that he started out on the air here, probably in the 1970's. Anybody remember him?
