Does anyone else Edit, Chop down the Begining of LOVE IS GONE

What we have found is, the people that actually stay tuned to the song long enough for the best and lyrics to pick up, seem to love the song, on the other hand we have those who imdeiately flip channels at the beginning during the DOOT DOOT DOOT DOOT, many impation people give a song they dont know about 5 seconds and then they change channels. We edited down the DOOT DOOT DOOT at the begining, and slightly pitched up the tempo x3 on our station. We would add the Florida Breaks mix if we could find it.... Where did Power 96 get that,,,, That mix made that song a hit in Miami cause it gave it some Street Beats.
 
We play the radio edit, which works very well for us. :03/2:59 Cold
