You mean now that Sheen's left or just in general. The show is OK for me. I watch it if it's on, but I wouldn't go out of my way to see it. But I can see how others enjoy it
I actually like this season more than I thought I would. John Cryer was always the funnier character anyway.
In general, it's one of my favorite shows to watch in syndication.
I fully agree that Jon Cryer was much more the talented actor on the show....and still is.
Kutcher is absolutely terrible. There is no other way to describe it. I just got done watching week 2 and don't remember laughing one time. This show is no longer on my "must see" list and I really doubt it will last unless C(BS) has nothing to replace it.
And, just as an aside, week 2 of "Broke Girls" was a huge disappointment as well although it had a few funny parts. I don't see it long for this world either.
I watched Two and A Half Men while doing something else one time and said "It was okay, but they sure were demeaning each other a lot."
Halfway through the second episode or so, I said "This really isn't going anywhere. How many chicks has Charlie bagged so far again?" [It was making me talk like an oversexed hipster doofus.]
Since then, I have flipped by it when the kids aren't around, and still don't get its allure.
That's probably part of it, but the whole thing just seemed more like "Three Half-Men" from the beginning.
And throw Berta in, because she was just as mean and juvenile.
"Three Half-Men and A Maid."
So far, the jokes and scripts feel "forced", but to give them credit, I think they might be still "setting the table" for the rest of the season, storyline wise. Cryer's character just "moved back in" at the last minute last night. I'm willing to give it a few more weeks, but if it doesn't improve by then, I think the show is done.
Mike & Molly is just hitting it's stride though, I enjoyed that much more than "Men" last night.
