As i have said in other posts, we lived in Flint Michigan from september of 1955. When the skip was good, we could get CKLW from Winzer. I remember watching a show called Hoof Land. It was on in 1957 or 1958 or some time around there. At about 3-30 P.m, a guy would come on and do magic tricks until maybe 3-45 or so, and then he would say: "Over the candy mountain and over the Hoof Land Sea. There is a place called Hoof Land, that's there for you and me. Now clap 3 times: (clap clap clap) and shout Hoof Land! (big echo)" Then we would be transported to a world where there was Hurkamerk Dragon, his friend Jingels and a newscaster named Cecil B Rabbit, and the like. The show addvirtised CocoMarsh and showed some Cartoons. I made my mom go out and buy Cocomarsh because it came in a sota fountain like pump jug. My mom thinks I made this up, and my brother and my sister weren't around yet or were too small too remember this. Would any of you have a tv guide that might list this show or do any of you know about it?
I remember it was on Channel 9 Detroit/Winzer in the late 1950s I don't remember it being on in 1960. I don't know if it was on CBC or some other network, or if it was just on CKLW.
If you have it listed, pleas post the whole days listings. What say you all?
