Does anyone know if WSJC, 810 AM, Magee is still on the air?

I know some were was watching the weather last night when the tornado plowed through Magee. I am wondering whether WSJC made it through the storm? I know Kixie 107 made it through the storm last night since their FM transmitter was at the same location as the old WSJC-FM transmitter and Kixie 107 was on the air with Tom Joyner show at about 5:30 Thursday morning. I heard that there was a radio tower that got snapped by the tornado and I am wondering whether that was WSJC's? I also noticed that WRBJ-TV was off the air for a while early Thursday morning since a tornado warning was issued for Smith County.

I gave out the wrong info. Kixie 107's transmitter was at Magee but it moved to Rankin County. I since looked at the coverage map for Kixie 107's location and I apologize for the misinformation.

Yep, AM is still on, heard it on the way home from work. I don't know why they bother though. The audio is so bad you can barely understand what anyone is saying. Its a shame, even with the bad or nonexistant audio, that thing still puts out a whale of a signal. I'd love to see someone put something good on that signal, even if it were a simulcast of some other station.

The 107 FM antenna was moved to Pelahatchie in the late 80s when it signed on as Majic107.
