Does anyone know why Hannity was on a one hour delay today?

I had to listen on WABC.com to hear the live show. Is this permanent, or just equipment problems?
I am assuming you are referring to WKJK-1080 AM in Louisville. As of yesterday, WKJK carries a daily paid local sports program hosted by former WHAS-TV sportscaster Garry Gupton. The show runs from noon-1pm. Therefore, WKJK has bumped The Dave Ramsey Show to 1-4pm and Sean Hannity is now on from 4-7pm. I believe they added a daily UofK sports show from 10am-noon. The noon show with Garry Gupton covers both UofL and UofK sports. As far as a live version of Hannity, you may want to try AM 590 WVLK or AM 550 WKRC. I can usually pick up these stations in most of the metro Louisville area.

Thanks for the response. I guess I won't listen any longer on WKJK. Should't the sports show be on 790 WKRD?

I am not a fan of this switch at all. WKRD-790 IS the sports station. I think it's great that they added local programming, but it is silly for one clear channel radio station to air a local sports show that directly competes against a local sports show on another clear channel radio station. WHY? Why not take away some of the FOX Sports feed and fill in those spots with local sports programming? Make 790 local-oriented Sports and leave 1080 as conservative talk.

I used to listen to Hannity until 105.1 FM Talk came around and scheduled Beck for the 3-6 slot. I have recently began listening more to Dave Ramsey during the day, though. Our radio schedules are so messed up here in town! Hardly any of the national shows are live! Not Savage, not Beck, Not Hannity, not Dave Ramsey, not Levin (fine by me), not Gibson, not Loveline, etc. As stated, it works out to my advantage with Beck, but it would be beneficial for local listeners to be able to call in if they wanted to call in.

Agreed 100%. I wish 105.1 would carry Beck live and Hannity live also. Maybe replay Beck after Hannity for the people who can't listen during the day.

Why don't WKJK just switch to ESPN Radio? In Cincinnati C.C. has ESPN on WCKY 1530 and Fox Sports Radio on 1360 WSAI.

Probably b/c they can make more money with Ramsey and Hannity.

Louisville doesn't like live radio. That should be obvious by WHAS's weekend schedule, ha ha! I can't believe Loveline is still on the air. I used to get a kick out of listening to Adam Corolla talk about his collection of VHS porno tapes back about 15 years ago. Dude was funny!

Well, if it's any consolation to you with the one-hour delay of Hannity, now Dave Ramsey is live. He does his show from 1-4p Eastern time, so he'll be in real-time.

What were they doing before, replaying the show from the day before?

Big deal... same old lines, that have been repeated over and over, like:
"don't use credit cards"
"we give you advice that your grandma would give ya, but we keep our teeth in"
"I'm doing better than I deserve"

It doesn't matter if that's played at 2 or 3pm. Like Bob and Tom, you can hear it repeatedly on a CC station somewhere.
