Does anyone listen to WMRD or WLIS?

MRD is a 2500 watt daytimer (40 watts after sundown) and LIS is 5000 watts (500 at night) Does anyone find any good programs on either station?
 ;D
Ray Lucia from 1-3 PM.

I haven't been down that way in 7-8 years. Do they still have the Sunday morning polka show? I think it was hosted by a guy named Ed Henry, any relation to 50s (?) polka band leader Ray Henry?

And if you like The Beatles the syndicated Breakfast with The Beatles (Saturdays 6AM-7AM and 7PM-8PM) isn't bad either.

7PM-8PM? Wouldn't that be considered "Supper with the Fab Four"?

These two stations are still local during drive hours...and some good local and syndicated programming can be found there. I am especially grateful they secured the Jerry Doyle talk show airing 11p-1a as I catch it on the way back home from my other job in Essex.

The one thing I miss in the days gone by is more local announcers during the day and more music as well. AM Radio can still play the songs people want to hear and get an audience, and the smaller stations can capitalize on being that local like in the old days plus make a pretty good buck. We do at our facility.
