No one seems to do stunts like this much anymore. I remember it was july of 1985 and it was midnight and they played an hour of christmas carols and then launched into 99.7 djx. Noone seems to do stunts like that anymroe for a format flip. Like in summer of 2009 when lrs went talk there was no stunting no nothing just all fo a sudden the phil henrie show was on.
And also i was just a kid but i remember when ron cla n terry meiners left lrs and jumped ship to qmf. That was quite the stunt.
Another excellent stunt though was when clear channel bought qmf and they said there was gonna be a format change and they played a different format an hour for a whole day and then stayed classic rock. I loved it.But it made me sad for that was the death of my favorite station wqnf q 2 105.9 and hit 105.9 took hold.
Well enough with the past. To end on a postive note the ville does have some good morning shows like ben and kelly and there side kick mo on djx and lambert and lindsey on the max and i love james bickers on fpk so we still have some good stuff on the old terrestrial dial in the ville.
