A guy by the name of Maurice Jackson who may have been on in the coastal area. Cocoa, Melbourne, New Smyrna or Daytona. Probably in the 70-80's. May have called the show Jackson's Beat.
Growing up in the 50's and 60's in Columbus, OH, we had a Maurice Jackson on WVKO radio. His show was called "Jacksons Beat" I do not have any idea what happened to him.
Same guy. I know he worked in Phoenix, San Antonio and OKC after he left Columbus. I've tracked him through the late 60's and one of the internet sleuth sites show someone with his name and with his kinfolk (listed a wife and a son as being possible relatives with the names that I know from other research) in coastal Florida. Figured he may have migrated there. But those searches are often iffy at best.
