Does anyone think louisville will ever get a current rock station?

Sirius does have dj's and some may even be live as there is current content.

I've been to several of their studios in DC and NY, and very few are live. It's almost all computerized VT. They can easily add any current content and insert it into the automation. Very common in radio going back 40 years, when automated stations would insert local weather or traffic, pre-taped on carts.

Keep in mind that everyone is looking to cut costs, not just broadcast radio. Sirius is keeping costs down, so is Pandora.

Kinda shows you how behind the times louisville radio is. The jack fm formats hit there stride years ago. Some stations round the country that were jack fm aren't today. I love the voice guy for jack fm. His name is howard cogan.
Love the snarky comments. To bad it's not the same one in louisville that does it for others like n la. There jack fm rocks. Louisvilles not so much.

So bout a year ago louisville ads a jack fm??? Why??? I know it's all automated n cheap. But louisville already tried a variety hits format called 100.5 Louie fm n a few years later 104.3 louie.

I agree I miss gen x radio. Is it the same voice guy that does la Howard Cogen? I stream the 1 in la sometimes n they just made this snarky comment "Is this the summer you make out with jack fm under the pier" to funny
