Does Austin have room for a CHR/RYHMIC

Well anything kind of close to that would be Mix 94.7 or Bob.

I'm sorry. But the spelling in the first post is driving me crazy.
In the subject line it's supposed to be RHYTHMIC from the root word RHYTHM.
And is should be ''Not TOO Top 40'' instead of ''Not to Top 40.''

I know it's just an informal post. But we can all learn from them instead of passing along errors that some may accept as correct usage.

How about bringing in a 24-hour commercial Mainstream Urban or Urban AC station to Austin. It will be a little variety to the radio dial, but instead of playing non-stop Hip-Hop, how about a equal balance of Hip-Hop and R&B. Also, play some R&B music that is on the R&B charts instead of the Rhythmic charts, because I feel like if some Austinites cannot afford internet service and cannot hear some songs that you won't hear from any commercial station in Austin, they will most likely will depend on KAZI, go out of town like Dallas, Houston, even Killeen to hear it, or hear it by word of mouth. KAZI plays all different kinds of African American music, but they will play each genre of music (blues,jazz,gospel,Hip-Hop,etc...) for around 2 to 3 hours a day per genre. Example: (R&B 7-9PM Mondays, Wednesdays, Saturdays. Jazz 10PM-12AM Tuesdays, Thursdays, Sundays.) I don't know the hours for each genre but you will probably understand what I'm saying.

You know Ive been checking out Mega HD2 since they have been streaming and I really wish that station would go to analog. The format is great and if they had done what they are doing now back when Mega 93.3 was on the air, I believe the station would have done better. Back then that station would practically go all dance one week then go Rythmic pop/dance the next. They did not really know what they were doing then and hired the wrong people who were too quick to change things up even before decent ratings could be posted up.
