Does Cox Have The Kahunies?

Does Cox Radio have a "Gen X" format yet? I have a feeling that format (or something close to it) will come to WHTQ, WMMO, or WJRR (CC, the most likely) by the time PPM ratings kicks in.

Closest thing Cox has to "Gen X" are their new pair of AAA stations in San Antonio and Richmond. It seems to be sort of classic-based...If THAT happened, WMMO would be the most logical choice given that it would be a continuation of the format...sorta. But I think they tried pulling that off in the '90's only to have it bite them in the, well, cajones!

That was also 15 years ago too. I could honestly see a full-fledged attempt at some sort of AAA in Orlando. Maybe not on a Cox station, but somewhere.

The original owners of WMMO played 3,000 titles and the station did very well. It fell on hard times when Cox bought it and cut the playlist to 300.
