Time to stir things up again. Latest news out of New York City is that they're putting Delilah on during the night shift at WLTW, the number one station in the top market in the U.S., which up till now, has been fully peopled with live local jocks.
Delilah has lost some momentum in some markets...while she's been a success in some, she's been dropped in others. 96Key (formerly Key 95) in Johnstown even dropped her in favor of their own locally-produced show called "Cryin', lovin', or leavin'". Who thinks Delilah has run her course?
I think she has. I have listened to her show off and on over the years, and one thing I've noticed is that it's gotten more preachy over the years...as if she's targeting more of a Christian audience. In my opinion, that can alienate, rather than attract listeners.
I'd also like to hear your perspective on similar shows hosted by John Tesh or Friday Epley. If you carry any of these shows, I'd love to hear what you have to say. BRING IT ON!!!
