Does ESPN Radio Take Another Frequency In Columbus?

With TEGNA going to Westwood One/Infinity Sports programming on September 1st on 97.1/1460 does ESPN Radio pop up on another frequency?

Just speculating here, but possibly on 105.3, where iHeart could pair it with Bengals football?

Couldn't hurt. Has to rate better than 105.3 right now.
Speaking of which, are they even a Bengals affiliate anymore? I can't remember the last time I heard a game on that frequency. I just listen to 700 once the Reds season is done.

Probably not. Considering ESPN is extremely pricey, the product quality is nowhere near where it used to be, and The Fan is such a juggernaut with its local programming that it will outrank any station that tries ESPN. Granted they did pick up Rich Eisen so maybe their starting to beef up the brand.

I believe it was ranking a .1 to . 2on 1460. Heck even Fox Sports which I think has the best overall quality top to bottom national sports brand, sometimes doesn't even rank on the ratings books over on 960.
