Does FM really sound better?

Does FM sound better with its 10 minute commercial sets?

Does FM sound better when you listen to it on a cheap clock radio?

???

No, AM sounds better with its 5 minute commercial sets and Liberal talk hosts who can teach you the correct usage of the apostrophe.

Y'know, I'm looking at this and laughing because I think it's wonderful sarcasm, meaning it needles Lib talk. But, if its intent is to be corrective, (big sigh) speaking from personal experience wherein I went off the deep end a few threads ago, comments like this are better left to the Grammar Board.

This is a radio board. We all make mistakes. We're not Tolstoy. We're all one big dysfunctional brotherhood. Let's have a party and get along. WTF. Life's too short. Eh, Yezi?!

And for the record, I think AM and FM both sound cheesy on my clock radio (the one with the lint in the speaker that vibrates at certain frequencies and makes the radio sound like Jimi Hendrix' fuzz tone guitar FX.). AM just sounds a little cheesy-er. That said, content is king, and if Rush, Baurle, Big Ed or Bill Press are making it worth listening to, I'll listen.

It's Whats Coming From The Radio That's The Problem.

It’s not the radio, but what is coming from the radio that counts. And right now one has a choice of hearing the same repetitious music on numerous stations; Boring talk show hosts who love to hear their voices; Or, especially this week, the beg-a-thons on public radio.

BTW I have a PAL radio at work which sounds great. I just wish there was something great to listen to.

Clock radio? What is this thing you speak of? ;-)

No one listens to clock radios except to wake up in the morning. AM and FM sound bad on them but FM sounds better, especially if you wake up before sunrise when most AM stations can finally boost signal.
