Does Jelli Radio have a future in San Diego

What, if any, station in San Diego could benefit from this new concept of controlling the playlist through smartphone apps? I think it sounds pretty cool and was thinking KSIQ could pick up on it and it could give them the edge they need to actually give 9-3-3 a run for their money.

KVBE in Las Vegas is going to be the first station to use the service 24/7 replacing their Dance-CHR format in June.

Calling KVBE a Las Vegas station is a real stretch. Kind of like KSIQ. Stations like that don't need a gimmick, they just need to be put out of their misery.

Now now boys beating up on KSIQ is kinda like kicking a 3 legged dog. hes already cripple and miserable so why do it! And you know if you say the call letters just right its K-SICK ! Just like the signal, sick??

Well with their new booster being 5K aren't they going to have a pretty clear coverage over most of SD?

96.1 needs a niche format. Something uncommon so people will put up with it.

Their signal "should" stop around I-8 as I recall, but its been a while since I saw their "pattern".

For format how about eskimo rap with a polka beat for every song. Makes as much since as letting any and all listeners decide. One of the reasons I dont care for bars is HAVING to listen to other people's terrible taste in music in the jukebox, and it is usually at ear-bleed loudness. If they play Jelli radio I know one person that WONT be listening!
