Does KISS have any DJ's left????

Different station, but same company and building. I notice that Evan is no longer listed on the on air page for 92.5 WWYZ. He just took over this position recently and I'm surprised to see it vacant again so soon.
Another Clear Channel cut or self imposed move on his part?

What does Clear Channel have set up for 95.7 WKSS? Could it be in store for a flip come the new year? Just my guess, but if they change maybe to that movin format with Whoppi In The Morning. Just saying this as it seems Clear Channel just doesn't care about Kiss 95.7 anymore. If thats how they wanna be sell the station to CBS Radio and group it with Hot 93.7, Lite 100.5 WRCH, 96.5 TIC and News/Talk 1080. Then they might take 96.5 TIC more Hot AC and have Kiss do its job of a CHR/POP. Just my 2 cents.

There appears to be a lot going on at 10 Columbus....Found this nugget on R&R this afternoon...

As part of Clear Channel's ongoing restructuring, WPOP (ESPN Radio 1410) PD Bob Plante exits. Elsewhere in the cluster, WKSS (Kiss 95.7) morning co-host Steve Coates, midday guy Adam Axe and promotions director Dawn Bucalo depart, as does WWYZ MD Evan Boyer. However, WWYZ PD Pete Salant continues in his role.

What in the name of Megan Doll is going on up there?

After talking with a couple people I know in the Phili area it seems that Adam Axe may end up on Q102 in philidelphia. More than likely he will do days 10 to 2pm. Then Jeremy Brooks formerly Jojo from Kiss is already doing 2 to 6pm. The PD on q102 is from kiss 95.7 and it would seem from talking to people that the deal could be done by thanksgiving. Weird how this is happening. Kiss 95.7 will be below kc101 in the hartford book for the winter. Also to let everyone know Frankie J that was on the night show on kiss 95.7 moved to san diego on channel 93.3 and simulacasts now in orlando. Maybe they should simulacast his show up here and get rid of the crap thats on at night. Kiss 95.7 your going to go down big time.

All of the people at WKSS that have been fired without cause (and all with connections to ex-PD Rick Vaughn):

- Adam Axe (middays)
- Dawn Bucalo (promotions)
- Steve Coates (mornings)
- Justin Sane/Adam Rivers (weekends)

The following have been pushed out the door and have landed other jobs

- Keenon (weekender, now assistant webmaster at CC New Haven)
- JoJo (now afternoons at WIOQ)
- Frankie V (now nights at KHTS)

Stan Priest has completely disregarded all of the history of this radio station. Vaughn brought back the station from the depths of hell, literally, to having an amazing Fall book and extreme fellowship. Priest has taken the station and put his mark on it, and you can tell, that the station sucks. The powers rotate every 60 minutes, which is turning people off a lot. The listenership is down, people listen to KC101. The new night guy SUCKS and has a wicked southern accent, as does the supposed new midday guy, Jamie, voicetracked from Florida.

Thanks, Stan, for killing a GREAT radio station. Sadly, now we're going to lose the heritage CHR in this market because you couldn't comprehend a damn thing when you came here.

While I don't know the guy, I'm willing to bet that Stan Priest has nothing to do with the firings at WKSS. There have been major bloodbaths at numerous Clear Channel Clusters across the country including NYC where they fired a bunch of people for heritage "LITE-FM" and in DC where they fired the popular "Morning Mess Morning Show" from "HOT 99.5". Speculation is the bloodbaths will continue in both markets.

In my opinion this is a cost-cutting move by Clear Channel to make the company look like it has a bigger profit to potential buyers.

Could it all have something to do with CC accepting a humungous $18.7 billion buyout on Thursday afternoon?
