Does Management Care when an HD2 Radio station goes down?

This past sunday I was in two Circuit City and two Best buy stores (computer parts on sale) The stores in Chelsea, 14th st and Upper east side were all packed, I looked at the radio/stereo sections in each no one in any of them.

All the action was in HDTV, computers, IPOD accessories and home theater systems.

That is symptomatic of what radio is up against in trying to update it's technology.

So you are trying to say that radio is up against complete apathy when it's trying to update ::) it's technology? More like a step backwards you mean. I think most people would interpret that as having a complete bomb on their hands that is already DOA and not replenishing the stock that was probably donated to Goodwill Thrift Shops. Face it, the average person neither knows nor cares what HD is and after this barrage of insulting, jarring ads recently probably never will.
Radio with a boob job, hey cool, let's steal one, oh, they're all in the dumpster in back? heh, heh, heh, heh, heh, heh, heh, heh, heh, Hey Beavis this thing don't work. Yeah, heh, heh, heh, Let's run it over with Mr Anderson's lawn mower, yeah cool, heh, heh, heh, crunch! wow, cool, heh, heh, heh.
I went looking for an 8 track machine the other day, all the action was in cassette recorders, LP's, and reel to reel decks. That is symptomatic of what cartridge audio tape is up against in trying to update it's technology.

Well, thanks anyway for the beavis reference, that does a explain why you have contributed so much to this discussion.

What else is their to contribute beyond the underlying fact that no one really cares? If an IBOC station's main channel goes down does it stay down for days? Don't think so because there'd be an uproar. What happens when a secondary HD-2 channel goes down? Nothing for days, does that not tell you something? Was there such a steep learning curve for some when AM stereo died? (which was a better idea in my humble opinion)
Beavis and Butthead doing the new ads would have made them more classy. They couldn't possibly have made them any worse.
