Does MAX have any other promos?

I'm so happy that Debbie from Fairfield has not even listened to her satellite radio since MAX debuted, but is she the only person who's called their listen line? It's the only promo they ever run!

OH, YES! THEIR LISTENERSHIP IS GROWING BY LEAPS AND BOUNDS! I heard a promo with two listeners from Moscow, Ohio. They have that Southern Ohio twang, and it makes the station still sound like the hayseed station it was in the country days.

It seems that their salespeople can't get out of Brown County. The only local spots I've heard are from small businesses in places like Mt. Orab and Sardinia. Probably holdovers from the country format. Radio Free Hooterville!

I almost expect to hear Swap Shop and the obituaries any day now.

My my my......Oscar, do still have hard feelings that they didn't name the station after you? Why do you always only have "negative" comments about this MAX FM? So what if the people from down in the hollar listen to MAX FM. What's it to you? And the Swap Shop was called "Dial N Deal", it was on the old CLASSIC COUNTRY 99.5, so you obviously heard about it. I just wish i was as cool as you Oscar and 96rocker, going back and looking at your posts, you both seem like you need a life. I bet people just can't get enough of your criticism and negativity. You really should get out of your mother's basement everynow and then, get out and enjoy the world. And leave radio-info alone for a few days heck, a few hours, we'll all survive on the board without a comment from either one of you.
But hey, as i said before, I STILL LOVE YA OSCAR...

And all you seem to do is trash other people's posts instead of making observations about radio. Could it be that you have minimal or even no experience in the business, so you don't have any basis to make any observations?

Oh, and I'm not in mother's basement, I'm in the spare bedroom of a $130,000 house that my wife and I have owned since 1985, and raised three successful children in. As for getting out and seeing the world, check my post history this past summer. You might notice a gap in late June, while I was in NYC watching the Yankees-Mets game from the comfort of a $6,000 private suite that we paid for in full. The other gap was in late August, while I was in DC on a business/sightseeing trip.

The reason I post a lot is because I feel like it, and my job allows me more spare time than most people get.

So, if you want to start a "happy talk" radio board on another site where never is heard a discouraging word, go right ahead.

Nice....

WOW. I have seem to struck a nerve...At least Oscar can see the humor in my posts. I could care less about how much you paid to see a ballgame, great for you.
You say all i seem to do is trash other people's posts, all you do is trash radio stations..You don't make observations, you just make negative comments. I don't need a HAPPY TALK BOARD , I was just making an "observation" about your negativity.
I may not have the experience you obviously are stating about the "business", but i am at least smart enough that if i don't like what a cincinnati radio station is playing, TO TURN THE KNOB....instead of going into " the spare
> bedroom of a $130,000 house that my wife and I have owned
> since 1985" and get onto this website & harp on it.

I hope you find something positive to say on this board at least every now and then, it gets stale waiting for the next negative comment to read from you & oscar.
