Does SBS control XHITS 106.1 now???

SBS now has XHITS “Hits 106.1” on LaMusica while the original website for it on Multimedios’ site has vanished.
SBS is trying to expand the offerings of its online service. I doubt they would buy a station in Mexico due to ownership regulations and their total lack of experience with Mexican business, law and procedures.

One would think that if they'd add XHITS, the rest of the Multimedios group would follow. Or would that need a design change for the app/site so it would be easier to navigate all of those stations.

Maybe they'll try syndicating Raúl Brindis to his hometown, too.

Actually, not a terrible idea. I'm not sure that anyone in Monterrey knows who he is, but he has the right style for an older leaning format in that citty.

He is doing better than I thought, but the audience leans quite old. But SBS targets its regional Mexican formats at a much older audience than others, so it might work.
