Does Spokane miss Britney?

Well, maybe Britney is a bad example. But what about all the other "pop/mainstream" product? From my understanding of the market KZZU plays the pop/rock songs and KEZE plays the "hip-pop", but where do solid pop songs from artists like: David Archuletta, Jordan Sparks, Pink, Katy Perry, Leona Lewis, Jesse McCartney, The Pussycat Dolls and *gasp* The Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyrus get played? Is there an outlet for for pop programming in Spokane now that KQQB is gone or have all of the teenage girls in Spokane just bought Ipods?

Echostar 7 transponder 8. There's an audio channel on there called "Hot FM" and they play that kind of stuff CONSTANTLY on there. (I forget the PID but the SID number is 924.) It's programmed by our friends at Muzak.

Of course, you need to have a Nagravision 2/3 descrambler programme running on your receiver to hear it. Incidentally if you have access to a DiSH Network receiver, just type in "924" and have at it. In Spokane you guys have it easy--just point your satellite dish directly south and there ya go. Now here in PDX I have to point my dish a bit east and......welll........*laughs*

Personally, that's one of the few Muzak programmes I actively avoid.

(Hey, you asked.)

Does Spokane miss Britney? Not any more than the rest of us.....

More Spokane radio fans lament over the demise of Z-Rock 103.9 than miss Miley Cyrus or the Jonas Brothers....

There is a gap for those really wanting to get to the teenybopper girls. But nobody seems interested.....

Actually from what I have seen (this is my own opinion/observation) one, well, "group" appears very interested in covering that portion of the market. It's known as "the cell phone industry"............

Looks like KZZU, which was the market's heritage CHR till it went Modern AC, has now evolved back to CHR/Pop! At least during nights.
Check yes.com for real time playlist or listen online via the website:
