Does this mean a change at 100.5 is finally on the way?

I hope so too. The only thing that would make me say no, is that I just saw a TV commercial for MY FM. Not sure why they would spend money on TV advertising if a switch was on the way. Still, stranger things have happened.

I always thought Vicki never really fit in at 100.5 anyway... it didn't quite seem to be her demographic. I liked her on 106.9 though. It looks like they've replaced her on 100.5 with Micki Gamez (i.e. cheap filler from another iHeart station), which I'm sure will hurt more than help. I think this also leaves Matt Ryan as the only local talent still around at 100.5.

The TV ads aren't really new, they've been doing it on and off since about last year. Mostly on WAVE, particularly during the late night talk shows.

Ahh, forgot about weekends... it looks like he is still there according to their website. The website also still shows Vicki Rogers as being on-air staff at 100.5 (they moved her a bit futher list, but didn't actually delete her), so who knows, she could still be around on weekends. Their lineup doesn't show that but who knows how often that gets updated.

I haven't listened to them much at all since they flipped from Gen-X, but every time I turn them on lately, they seem to be drifting to sound a lot more like 99.7 than 102.3. In fact, this Micki Gamez they're throwing on in place of Vicki Rogers... she is based out of KZEP in San Antonio, a rhythmic top 40 station with the branding "Hot 104.5." So how they can make something like that simultaneously work out on a station like 100.5, who knows, but I don't think they really care what they're putting in on there.
