Does This Stuff Ever End

Last Monday, after getting lots of grief from my gal when I canceled her XM, I decided to reactivate my second unit. I called, and when they said it would be over a hundred bucks I asked for the retention department and they offered me 5 months for 20 bucks. I felt good, and almost posted about my pleasant experience, and then today........checked my credit card charges and realized they billed me $24.55 When I inquired why I got a gal I could not understand at all, and after having her repeat and repeat it comes down to this........XM is not longer waving the royalty fees that they were waving last year. She said this is a "US tax that XM must charge". I suggested to her that XM would keep subscribers if they were honest with them up front, since I had asked the gal last Monday what specifically my charges were going to be. Does this crap ever end?
 
Is $4.55 really worth starting a thread about?
