Does Z88.9 have a third translator in Cape May at 97.9?

Looking at the Wikipedia entry for WBZC, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WBZC , it says that there is a third translator on 97.9, W250AK Rio Grande, NJ. Is it on the air yet? With that translator, that covers the rest of New Jersey that isn't covered by a dance station or mixshow.

Try to ask Dancerev889 (Brett) Im sure he will give u the answer. Dont depend on wikipedia that much. If its a yes then its about time that the wildwoods have a dance station.

What's interesting is according to radio-info, this transmitter is still simulcasting WFZI (Lift 98.5), which this stations sounds new to me.....when did this station come about on the air?

WZFI-LP is an LPFM station from Bridgeton ..
They went on the air in September of 2004 ...

W250AK went on the air years ago (+/- 2004) and was simulcasting 88.7 WXXY/Port Republic. I haven't heard it in years; no idea what's on it now. I thought that 98.5 LPFM was on it (just a guess).

To answer the question, the answer is no. I was alerted yesterday by a station member about that. We have applied a few years back for other translators but we are not on that frequency. The only translators we have are 95.1 in Burlington and 100.7 in Mt Holly

I wish WBZC would get a translator for Eastern Burlington County where WGXM at 88.7 totally destroys them.

It's a shame that "WBZC - A voice for Burlington County" is wiped out by Burlington county's own WGXM/Port Republic...

That slogan hasnt been used in years. We are now the Pulse of Burlington County. For the most part we dont have too many issues to the east.
