Doesn't look like....

Can't stand The Squawk! The music is okay but their people are terrible! Besides at least with LEV I get the info I need for news, weather and traffic!

9.8. Checking back, that was LEV's 12 plus mumber in last years fall book. If they meet or exceed that number, then the idea of doing the holiday thing part time will have been a success. If they don't hit a 9,
then someone at Avenue C should have to answer to the Citadel brass.

and no one does anything with the community except for the holidays to bring in the listeners .. (something ken did very well b4 the genius's of clear channel management let him go to fall behind an am station in ratings)

you are quite incorrect, sir, about lehigh valley radio's involvement in the community. wlev participates in various fund-raising activities throughout the year (heart walk, als walks, march of dimes in the spring, they did a breast cancer thing in october) and cat country is quite involved with st. jude's children's hospital. waeb am - bobby gunther walsh is constantly involved with local charitable organizations. wzzo also does various charity events around the lehigh valley all year long. don't hear much about what the hawk does, but i'm sure they're out at a bunch of different events all year long.

i would say that most radio people in the lehigh valley care very much for the community in which they work and often donate their time to participate in these activities. the thing is, you're not listening all day to every lehigh valley station so you can't really say for sure they're not involved.
