Doesn't SNL have a dump button?

May not be much since it is safe-harbor hours between 10pm & 6am. Probably a FCC slap but no TKO.

There not very funny

According to Tom Shales of the Washington Post, this hasn't happened in 28 years, and they do not have a dump button.

"We've used an honor system," (producer Lorne) Michaels said, "and pretty much everyone has played by it forever." Although the FCC went wild doling out enormous fines for alleged obscenities during the George W. Bush era, it's believed in some circles that the Obama administration will have less interest in such matters.

Assuming he's referring to the Charles Rocket incident, I can think of two times between then and now that it's happened- both Norm McDonald and one of the guys from System of a Down have dropped the f-bomb.

I was really surprised that the broadcast was not on a 7 second delay... A few years ago the Awards Shows all began using one after a few people dropped some "bombs" during acceptance speeches and such.

I would expect NBC management to issue an order that all live entertainment shows such as this begin using the delay. Really there is no reason NOT to, is there?

When Don Pardo says "LIVE" ... he means it.

Pardo me.

I think it was done on purpose. No, they wouldn't do that, would they? The F bomb is the only thing anybody is talking about from Saturday's awful show.

I think Central time zone heard the raw feed, too. I was watching SNL on my DVR Monday night and thought to myself, "Did she say what I thought she said?" I assumed she didn't so I didn't roll it back.

I have since deleted the show.
