man if it was on the other coast it be great for me lol. might be lookin into something around stuart/port st lucie area. 
I'm looking into getting an ISDN connection so I can start doing fill-in shows (I'm shooting for summer, in time for all the vacation work). Any constructive comments anyone can offer would be welcomed and appreciated... ;D

I've been doing my weekly radio show for 12 years from my office (like a home, but a half-mile from home). Certainly not a "major" syndicated show, but with 50+ affiliates and XM, I guess it qualifies as "real."
As with everything else in life, "it all depends" rules the conversation. If you are good and can bring energy to the show, you can do that anywhere.
Well, gotta go flip switches. I'm on the air in 30 minutes. I have guests lined up in Michigan, Florida and ah, another one in Michigan. And here I am in the Bayou State.

Jay Severin, on WTKK FM in Boston, does his show from his home. He brags about his beautiful view and complains he's hot because there are only 2 small windows. I don't think listeners want to hear that stuff. He originally did his (non-syndicated) show from his home on Long Island (it is said) and he got a lot of flack for not really being in Boston.
