Dolphin Radio

Soundesinger
When are you planning on putting Dolphinradio back on the air? Every time I drive past Delgado I try to tune ya'll in, but 1620 is dead and I know 1610 has to much splatter from KLEB. Just wondering the status.

The antenna apparently became detuned after a great deal of water got into the base loading coil. We tried to make some adjustments, but things just got worse. The station is still running online, but I'm going to need a day that isn't raining or so durned hot to work on the Part 15 AM transmitter (it's on the roof). It's on my ever-growing List of Things to Do. Also, we never did get around to switching to 1620 kHz (also on the above-referenced list).

Thanks for listening! It's an incentive for me to try and get things back on the air quicker!
