Don Bosse leaving WTAG

After 20 + years on Saturdays on WTAG Don Bosse is leaving. I've been a listener for a long time. He has a nice pleasant demeanor, just right for a Saturday morning. I guess he had a setback in his home improvement business and is leaving the area. Too bad.

He's being replaced by a guy who, if I'm not mistaken, did a show on WCRN on Saturdays. I have a feeling that the loyal listeners to Don's show aren't going to like this guy at all. I listened to him a couple times when Don was off. Both times I came away with the same feeling...........he's a smart-mouthed punk and the show is just a long commercial foir some sort of construction company he runs.

Good luck, Don.

R-I has this as a story on the banner linking to this post.

Since when is it spelled Worchester?
How do I find it? I'm guessing that R-I has something to do with this web site, but I don't know how to find the banner.

On the main page for this site (www.radio-info.com), there's a scrolling "ticker" with news headlines toward the upper right side of the page. Usually the headlines link to a forum post/thread or, on occasion, a news story. The headline in question (which has since been removed) read as follows (taken from URL link):

Another spot for a possible link to forum threads/posts is the "Buzzing On The Boards" box just below the scrolling ticker.

Wasn't that Home Improvement show a "paid program" like most of the financial and other shows on the weekend. Who is taking over for him?

I doubt it. On occasion he mentioned that he did the show for free. He didn't seem to the type of guy who'd be selling ads.
