Don Cannon

I read on pbrtv.com this morning that Don Cannon is having some problems. I guess its not fair to speculate anything at this point, but was wondering what opinions other have on his situation. I do know that last weekend KDKA news was on and my wife mentioned Don Cannon didn't seem like himself. I wasn't really watching but she did recognize something was up.

I believe Don Cannon was on radio one time in his life, so hopefully I won't get in trouble for posting in Radio-Info. ;D When I lived in EPA, I remember listening to a Don Cannon on WFIL-AM. I saw KDKA Don Cannon a few years ago at a rib festival in South Park and asked if it was him. He said no but he knew the other Don Cannon I was referring to. Whatever is going on, I hope KDKA takes care of him, he seems like a really nice person.

Likewise, and good save especially since he was on the radio for many years. ;D He seems like a nice guy and hopefully he will get better.

When KD Don Cannon worked in Philly, he used his real name -- Don Clark -- because the DJ Don Cannon was so well known in that town.

Boss, yes Don Cannon on WFIL was very popular....almost as popular as the late Jim O'Brien. What station was KD Don Cannon (Don Clark) on in Philly? I'm trying to remember if I remember his name.

The Philly Don Cannon continued to be very popular for many years doing mornings on Oldies 98.1 WOGL until he retired a couple of years ago.

KD Don Cannon was the swashbuckling anchor upstairs at Channel 4 with Paul Long when I was working downstairs in the radio bunker. Hope you are well, Don.

Just a quick question...

When I left the Greater Pittsburgh Area in 1986, Don was still working at WTAE with Paul Long (I know Paul passed away) Why did Don move to KDKA? ???

I hope I can sneak one more in....What happened to Bob Kudzma? ???

Thanks,
Stuart ;D

last i heard of kudzma he was retired and ( no kidding here) driving a school bus in a pittsburgh suburb....claims he absolutely loves it
