Don Geronimo Countdown

I don't see CBS letting him go. He seems to have a handful of loyal sponsors on his show, which may be enough to keep the suits happy. At least the target demo is lucrative. As for the station as a whole, ratings are proportional to how good the Kings are. Listeners will go to KNBR for local sports news outside of Kings basketball.

OK, any chance of Geronimo holding on to his job?

The only job he might be in danger of losing is the PD gig. Like it or not, that show has been top 5 25-54 men for over a year. You don't get fired with morning show numbers like that.

Not sure what ratings you're looking at. The latest 3 month PPM has the show ranked 12th for Men 25-54. Keep in mind, that's their target demo, and they are getting beaten by the likes of KQJK, KCTC, KKDO,KHYL, and even KDND...in addition to all the primary Male stations. Geronimo's a legend in his own mind.

He's not going anywhere. I'm surprised he hasn't been picked up on more stations. It's coming. He'll be on in San Diego and possibly LA soon.
