Don K. Reed on Long Island Radio Last Night

I caught Don K. Reed sitting in live on the Sock Hop last night (WHPC 90.3FM, Sundays 8PM-9PM). Frank and Tony from The Chaperones were also with him.

Mr. Reed talked about how good his numbers had been in the Books leading up to the wholesale firing, and that word on the street was that the reason that Infinity axed CBS-FM (and not another underperforming station in their stable) was that it would bring tons of publicity (which he added that they "certainly got"). He said that CBS-FM returning is "improbable" but not "impossible."

Neither he nor Bobby J. have found DJ work, though Bobby J. will be working some upcoming Fair in Massachusetts for 17 days.

Either way, it was good to hear him playing Doo Wop again on a Sunday night.
