Don Lincoln follow-up

Don Lincoln, one of the original KRIZ KIDS mentioned here last month, has awoken from his coma following a brain anurism. The doctors recommended a "disconnect" and the news that one half of his brain was inactive sparked a debate within the family.

A little over three weeks after lapsing into the coma Don awoke, and while he could not speak due to a trake in his throat was able to communicate by nodding his head. Most of the functions predicted to be "vegitated" are now functioning. He spoke his first words last week after the trake was removed.

It will be a long period of physical therapy before it will be known how Don will recover and the family wants to thank all of you for your prayers.

Hi, I'm one of Don Lincoln's three sons. He is showing some small improvement, but we are unable to determine whether or not he knows who we are. As far as I know, he has not spoken. If he has spoken, it would only be mouthing a single word. The family does indeed appreciate the many prayers and kind words on my father's behalf. Please continue to pray and if there are any significant changes to report, I will post it on this message board. Thank you and God bless you all!

I never really knew him. I just knew of him. I was a board op at KMEO a very long time ago (late 80s).
