I am so sorry to report this. Donald W. Meyers, WAKY General manager and the long time General Manager of WMC, FM100 has passed away. His wife Patricia wrote the following: "Don died peacefully in his sleep yesterday (Friday, January 4) afternoon listening to Miles Davis (and) surrounded by all his loved ones. We're going to miss him like crazy."
I'll add more when I have it. I just wanted you all to know.
 
Wow....so sad to read this. I competed with Don when he was GM of the WMC stations during my years at K-97, KIX 106 and ROCK 103. Condolences to Patricia and the family. Craig Scott, Savannah, GA
