Don & Mike: Last Show Tomorrow

For anyone who remembers Don & Mike from WYSP circa 2001-2002, Don Geronimo's last show will be tomorrow. He's retiring. Mike and the rest of the crew will continue doing the show, which will be known as The Mike O'Meara Show.

The show will stream live at wjfk.com (and other affiliates' web sites) and podcasts should also be posted there.

This past week has been a retrospective (i.e., Best Of, but actually carefully produced). Podcasts of that are available, too.
 
thanks for the info. I worked with Don & Mike at WAVA in 1990-91 when the two were only local. :) They destroyed my 1976 Cadillac on Halloween by tossing a bunch of pumpkins on it from a cherry picker. Nice radio. :)
 
i know i dont post on here much , but i have to say that i really enjoyed the don and mike she when thery were on YSP . its was a good show for the time slot they were in at the time 10 to 3 . i still have the shows on my mp3 player from 2002 when Opoe and anthony were fighting . to me the best line up of radio was stern moring don and mike midays O&A afternoons then streaming ron and fez night streaming fomr new , i never had the radio off , didnt even know freidia had past away , and i dont think mike can carry the show on his own they should have all steped down ,
 
That was GREAT radio when Don & Mike were having an on-air fight with whom they dubbed "Gregg & Acne"...

By the way... I don't think WNEW was streaming back in 2002...
 
there was no streaming back in 2002 it was sindication underground fed ex ed was streaming the show from his home and doing live stream on 365.com times were so much better i have the don mike / O&A fights on my ipod . god i miss the good old days , bring back the greaseman woodle doodle
 
I'd highly encourage anyone who was a fan of their show to check out the last week of Podcasts, including the final episode, which is all available on iTunes. The staff does a fantastic job in playing some rare moments that probably haven't been replayed since they first happened on the air. A great listen.
