don & mike:

I wanted to reserve this post, but I am going to ask anyway,
Are don & mike, ..serious enough on aire, to take the
unfortunate event to what has affected them, to heart.
and not use it as any on-aire 'stunt'
(or, even for them, is nothing safe)...

Never know until u ask.

It seems, for celeberties..they would find it "entertaining"
to either make lite of it, or go as far as broadcasting
live from the funeral..'just for the sake of doing it,
and, oh yea..ratings..' / as in the case of the
singer, TLC, becoming a fatal victim in an auto accident..
(was it left-eye lopez?)...

Well, anyway, I hope, sincerely hope, they dont stoop that low
with the recent events. Whenever their is tradegy, hearts will
extend, to the most needy, and I HOPE they accept all that
is offered to them with the greatest sincerity(?spelling).

this market really embraced them, and welcomed them..at times,
i even listened, and found them ..."great"
-but will lose alot of respect for them, if they make this
an on-air circus..

just a thought..if any one close to this or a similar situation reads this:
my prayers are there for you and yours as well.

According to dcrtv.com, Don won't be back on the air until
8/1. Since the funeral already happened, your gruesome scenario
can't happen. Why would you even think of such a thing?

*Because they are SHOCK-Jocks...and, frankly, it's never been done..
*NOT* even for the Immortal "howard" to 'go there/cross that line'

i was hoping/speculating i was wrong..but, i dont listen to them;
and, wasnt sure the content and how much they will comprise to
reach a listener..

all that aside,
i am sorry to hear of the whole tragedy...prayers are extended
to the ones in need.

It's not completely off base to think a radio station could carry the funeral of a personality if done in good taste, no commentary. A lot of listeners may have wanted to hear that. The funerals of many politicans & even celebrities have been covered live (such as Dale Earnhardt on Speed & Tammy Wynette on CNN).
